So when you're in your third trimester and feeling rather large and uncomfortable, there's only one thing to do... Eat pancakes!
A week or two ago the Husband and I were looking to get out of the house on a Sunday afternoon. We decided to drive out to Greystones and have a *short* walk by the sea. This Lovin' Dublin article was in the back of my head and so I suggested we might also have something to eat at La Creperie, a really popular little hotspot near the waterfront.
It was a lovely outing! It was a great 'Pregnancy Date' for us as it involved a scenic drive, not much walking and something special to eat. It would make a great first date too, perhaps? We sat at 'Nice', a tiny table for two with quaint French postcards underneath the glass tabletop. These were our pancakes...
I also tried out a 'Diabolo' - sparkling or still water mixed with a Monin Syrup of your choice and served with lots of ice - lovely and refreshing - and my Husband had an Americano. Total bill was under twenty euro.
Perhaps this might inspire you one Sunday if you're looking for an outing? Or let me know if you've had the pancakes at La Creperie and what you thought of them in the comments...
